Pole Lathe Workshop

Learn how to build a pole lathe and take it home with you at the end of the workshop (you might need a trailer!). This foot powered lathe is an essential greenwood working tool. Used for making a wide variety of objects including legs for stools and chairs, cups, bowls, dishes and even buckets.

The course runs from 10am – 5pm everyday and the price includes wholesome, nutritious homemade morning tea and lunch every day. This 3 day course costs $500.

Accommodation

We offer free camping and caravan sites on the school grounds (no electric or water hook up) with the use of our hot outdoor shower and compost toilet. Or alternatively some of our neighbours have Airbnb accommodation options please get in touch for more details.

Food

A wholesome, homemade nutritious morning tea and lunch is included in the price. A 2 course delicious dinner is available at an extra cost of $15 a day but this must be pre-booked and paid for at the time of final payment. We cater for most dietary requirements and while we do our best to avoid traces of allergens, we cannot guarantee that food is allergen free.
